[Khmer Times]: Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), will participate as a guest speaker at the Nikkei Forum in Tokyo, Japan, on June 10, where she will join a high-level panel discussion on strengthening regional cooperation and economic stability.
The panel, themed ‘ASEAN+3: Anchoring Regional Cooperation, Contribute to Global Stability’, will examine the role of ASEAN+3 economies in addressing global uncertainties and supporting sustainable growth in the region.
Other panellists include Jay Y. Yuvallos, Chairman of the East Asia Business Council 2026, and Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, Governor of the Central Bank of Malaysia. The discussion will be moderated by Yasuto Watanabe, Director and CEO of the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO).
The two-day forum is expected to bring together senior government officials, policymakers, business leaders and development partners from across Asia.
Notable participants include Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice-Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), Masato Kanda, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, and Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Laos.
